Born in Sweden. Worked 1968 - 74 with Alfred Bergs Fondkommision, Stockholm, 1974-76 and with Dominick & Dominick in New York. 1976 - 90 Johan managed International Forecasting Corp., a FX and Bond trading company. In 1989 he co-founded FMG Fund Managers and has since been responsible for the development of new funds and distributors.

Born in the US. After being brought up in Norway, Arild moved back to the US to attend college. He started his career with Caldor and then joined FMG in 1992 as chief analyst. Arild is responsible for the search of new managers for the funds, as well as to monitor existing managers.

Born in Sweden, Barbro moved to the US in 1970 to work with the investment bank C.E. Unterberg, Towbin & Co. In 1974 she joined Scanoil, Inc., an international oil trading company where she held the position of Treasurer/Corporate Secretary. In 1991 she joined FMG and is responsible for administration and accounting.

Gunnar was a consultant from 1998 - 2000 working with major banks and high net worth individuals from Avanse Forvaltning AS. He was in charge of trading at E*Trade Norway ASA from 2000 - 2002. Gunnar has a Master of Philosophy in International Finance, University of Glasgow, Master of management - with a major in Styring av Finansforetak and Fondsmegling, and BSc in Economics from Handelshoyskolen BI.

Joseph has over 25 years experience employed in various capacities within the financial markets. He has been employed with Bank of America, Nomura Securities, Goldman Sachs, Millburn Ridgefield & Liongate Capital Management. He has vast experience as a portfolio manager and currency and commodity trader. He has been licenced by various financial regulators and sits on a number of boards of financial companies. Joseph is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta's Banking & Finance Department, and has also taught courses at the Central Bank of Malta and other financial institutions. Joseph graduated with a BA from Baruch College, City University of New York.

Fredrik has over 15 years’ experience in marketing and business development within the finance industry. His career began as a stock broker at the Swedish Insurance Company Skandia. He then joined FMG as marketing manager responsible for developing the marketing strategy within Sweden and neighboring countries. In 2007 he was made Marketing Director for the FMG Group. He is currently responsible for developing and managing key marketing initiatives, distribution channels, client relations and marketing materials.

Henrik joined FMG in September 2006 after graduating from Lund University, School of Economics and Management with MS degree in Business and Economics. Henrik is based in Dubai, where he is in charge of manager search as well as distribution of FMG's Funds in the MENA region.

Alex Traub

Head of sales

Alex joins FMG as Managing Director of the Singapore Branch and Head of Sales bringing with him 11 years of experience in asset management distribution and private wealth management. Prior to FMG Alex was with Castlestone Management where he was responsible for the Asia Pacific distribution of that firm's Global Macro, Commodities and Emerging Markets Equities products. Prior to Castlestone Alex was in Private Wealth Management, latterly with his own firm advising a small group of high net worth clients.

Born in Scotland. Began his career in 1992 with private client fund management in London. He moved to hedge fund marketing from 1997-2004 with one of the original European hedge fund managers based in London. Avon joined FMG EurAsia in January 2005.

Born and raised in the US, Erik joined FMG USA LLC in September 2006, after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.A. in Sociology and a CUBIC Business Degree. Erik has formed part of the FMG investment team working as an assistant analyst on several FMG funds, within the areas of market research, investment strategies, portfolio optimization and due diligence. From January 2010, Erik moved to Malta, employed by FMG (Malta) Limited, holding the position of General Manager.

Reuben qualified as an accountant in 1996, and worked as an auditor for Deloitte before joining a business solutions company with clients in various industry and service sectors. Reuben started with FMG in May 2011, and will be based in our Malta office.

Mark joined FMG in June 2010, after getting valuable experience working with HSBC & Global Capital in the areas of customer service, marketing & financial advice. Mark’s role at FMG is relationship management with regards to the individual investors & IFAs. Mark is CeFA qualified and is reading towards his finance degree.

Born in Belgium and raised between Africa and Europe, Arantxa started her career in Oman and later Singapore, where she worked in the hospitality and accounting industries. Her last role was Admin and Operations Manager at Money Matters for Expats, in Singapore. She has now settled in Malta and joined the FMG Group to give administration and marketing support to the FMG team.
